Coach Matt Lujano graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1994 and was a multiple time All State, All District and All Conference player.  Lujano played in the senior All-Star game in 1994.  He went on to play college baseball at Creighton University and Simpson College before graduating from UNI in 1999.  Lujano has coached all levels of baseball from youth to high school varsity.  He has over 15 years of high school coaching experience and is currently an assistant coach at Kuemper Catholic.  Lujano has been a part of two state tournament qualifying teams while at Kuemper Catholic.  Lujano will work with players of any level to better them in their pursuit of becoming the best baseball or softball player they can be.

Coach Mark Feilmeier graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. He was an honorable mention All State and academic All State recipient. He went on to play baseball at Briar Cliff College and was a four year letterman and two year starter. Feilmeier coached softball at Kuemper Catholic for five years, where his teams advanced to two state tournaments. He also coached baseball at Kuemper Catholic for nine years, his teams making five state tournament appearances. He was named All Star Series Coach and District Coach of the Year. He coached in the Pioneer Collegiate Baseball League, where he led the Storm Lake Whitecaps College team to the championship series finals. He is the former owner of “The Cage" and has 20+ years experience working with young players, many of which have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

Coach Kyle Berg is a dedicated and accomplished baseball coach who brings both passion and expertise to the field. A 2020 graduate of Kuemper Catholic High School, Berg was a standout athlete, earning 2nd Team All-State honors in his final year and being recognized multiple times as an All-District player throughout his high school career. His high school achievements also include contributing to two teams that reached the state championship games in 2016 and 2017. Following his successful high school career, Berg continued his baseball journey at Concordia University, Nebraska, where he played for four years and graduated in 2024. During this time, he also gained valuable coaching experience, assisting the Carroll Merchants intermittently in 2024. Coach Berg is committed to helping players of all skill levels unlock their potential and excel in the game. His hands-on approach and dedication make him an excellent mentor for aspiring athletes looking to improve their skills and reach the next level.
